Statement of Faith

​

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  • We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Criteria for Promoting Partners’ Events

​

  • To publicize and sponsor, when possible and appropriate, public expressions of our Lord’s words and works, in joint evangelical witness to the larger community.

  • Must be an individual, ministry or church partner of CFS.

  • Open and of interest to members of all churches.

  • An event edifying the body of Christ.

  • We will not forward items which are political in nature.

  • Limit to 3 promotions per year.

  • Announcement requests should be submitted to CFS at least 2 weeks before they want it to be distributed.

  • Protocol: Clerk forwards to whole executive committee for their approval.

  • If there is a question, the executive committee will make a collective decision.

  • We don’t share our mailing list with partners or non-partner groups.

  • Tag line: This email is forwarded as a courtesy for individual, ministry and church partners and does not necessarily reflect the views of the members of CFS.
